“I seek truth. Inside the courtroom, I collaborate with opposing counsel to advocate zealously for it. Outside the courtroom, I synthesize case law, analyze statutes, and creatively write for it. And with each and every moment, I dedicate my life to it. That’s why I do what I do. My law firm upholds the truth by protecting the promise of liberty and justice for all, especially for the poor, the injured, and the powerless.”
Christopher Morrell was born and raised in Southeast Texas where he attended public schools, graduating from PNG high school. Throughout his youth he mowed lawns, did manual labor, and waited tables. He then was recruited to play soccer for Incarnate Word University a Division II NCAA school. After his first year he transferred to Texas A&M University. Then he continued on to what is now known as, Texas A&M School of Law on scholarship where he obtained his Juris Doctorate degree.
Chris began working at the District Attorney’s office and eventually left to follow his wife for her fellowship training treating children with cancer at MD Anderson in Houston, Texas. He has handled hundreds of criminal and personal injury cases, and what he loves most is pleading cases before juries. “I enjoy trying to persuade a group of people to my point of view. From my experience trying cases I have found that juries almost always do the right thing.” He truly cares about his clients and pursues excellence in all aspects of law. He always tries to get the best results possible in the shortest amount of time and inconvenience to the client.
Chris is active in the community and is committed to his family. He and his wife are parishioners at Annunciation Church in Houston, and support the Catholic Church throughout the Diocese. His hobbies include boxing, watching movies, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
